HOLY WAR
Since the beginning of time the two sides have existed. Each side has had its' share of times it influenced things. In the end though, both sides have always come out even. This would have gone on for an eternity, had not something happened . Each side would have fought just beyond our grasp of understanding and perception. This was changed, almost for good, when we found the gate. It was something that should have been left undiscovered. While we sought to understand it, we built another one just like it. Once both gates were opened, both sides poured out of them and immediately attacked each other. Both sides were too evenly matched to defeat the other. Both sides swore that the other was out to destroy us. They each sought followers among us. One side promised power, wealth, drugs, sex and any other physical thing we wanted if we would only follow them. The other side promised us eternal joy, eternal life, no more pain, and many other things if we would just follow them. The war has ravaged the Earth pretty badly, and no one is unaffected. Someone from one side told us to blow up the gate that the other side was using. Both sides had something to say about blowing up any gate. One side said that we would all die a hideous and horrible death if we did this. The other side said that we needed their guidance, and that without it, we would soon die.
Last night, we put those ideas of theirs to the test. We destroyed both gates. We forced both sides back through their gates, and then blew them both up at the same time. I say let heaven and hell fight their own war now. SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
